Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
- Oversee cargo loading, unloading, lashing, and cargo care for vehicles.
- Manage deck operations, navigation watches, and maintenance of deck equipment.
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company safety procedures.
- Supervise and mentor the deck crew while maintaining high operational and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certification and Certificate of Competency as Chief Officer.
- Previous sailing experience as a Chief Officer on PCTC/Car Carrier vessels is essential.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle cargo operations, stability, and safety management systems.
- Good leadership, communication, and English language skills.
